SIRM offers its customers a single point of contact for all assistance, support and maintenance services for the products and services offered. Through the Service Coordination Centre, the network of direct offices in  the United Kingdom and Italy and the global network of partners, SIRM is able to offer assistance and spare parts for any type of marine electronic equipment in the main ports of the world.

The SCC manages service activities for customers who have signed a management contract or have a service agreement and for occasional customers, sailing near one of the SIRM service points in Italy and the United Kingdom. All requests for service, spare parts, new equipment or airtime are handled by an internal process and assigned to the specialized team able to offer the best response to our customers.

SIRM UK Provides support & maintenance services to vessels trading the world over through its OceanCARE package.

The team of the Service Coordination Centre, internal technicians and international partners make every effort to best meet the service, maintenance and support requirements of our customers, with a specific response for large commercial transport fleets, passenger ships, fishing vessels and pleasure craft.

Through the Service Coordination Centre it is also possible to request one of the Annual Surveys provided for a ship, that is:

Spares and Consumables

Through the Service Coordination Centre you can request spare parts and consumables, including portable radios, batteries, EPIRBs, SARTSs, GPSs, SSASs, magnetrons, etc. 

Global Support

Global support for the efficiency of onboard electronics with an experienced team and an extensive network of partners to support our customers in the world’s major ports.

SIRM UK Marine Ltd. is an MCA registered GMDSS Shore-Based Maintainer, MCA and IOM approved Authorised Testing Application Service Provider for issuing LRIT Conformance Test Reports and a MCA Authorised company to carry out GMDSS Radio Surveys.

SIRM is authorized  to exercise the function of Account Authority (AAIC) with the identification ‘GB06’ and ‘GB08’ and  is able to provide service for a very large number of flags and for navigation areas A1, A2, A3 and A4.

Thanks to the constant and continuous relationship with the main international manufacturers, SIRM engineers are constantly updated and certified on the main Navigation, Communication and Safety equipment and are able to guarantee their installation, configuration and maintenance. SIRM is also able to distribute software and firmware updates for installed and maintained products. All activities are carried out in compliance with international quality standards and in accordance with current regulations, to ensure maximum efficiency and safety of navigation at all times.

In case of installation of new equipment, SIRM engineers are able to provide support to familiarize themselves with the functionalities of the systems and to ensure the necessary transfer of knowledge and expertise to the crew on board. SIRM can also supply on customer request Epirb and AIS tests, VDR APT and LRIT activation.
