SIRM has a consolidated experience and competence in the management of radio stations and GMDSS and navigation equipment and is able, with its technical structure and network of international partners, to offer an integrated and proactive service aimed at maximum efficiency of the equipment. These competences are completed with the Accounting Authority and PSA service (IU02 – GB06 – GB08) and with the offer of broadband satellite solutions.

SIRM and SIRM UK have certified operational processes and the Quality System according to the standard ISO 9001: 2015.

SIRM UK’s team of accredited, experienced Surveyors are fully trained marine electronics engineers with class approval to meet and exceed the standards set by ABS, Lloyd’s Register, MCA, DNV-GL, RINA, ClassNK, Bureau Veritas and Korean registry for your GMDSS Radio Surveys and VDR annual performance test requirements

SIRM quality system is certified by LRQA. SIRM is also enabled as ‘service supplier’ testing the provision of radio and communications equipment for the major International Registers. SIRM follows the below activities:

  • SSAS Annual Test
  • SART Annual Test
  • Radar Efficiency Test

With its worldwide partnership agreements, SIRM ensures support and assistance along the main international shipping routes.
